Countdown to Buffalo Triathlon:
"To some extent, we are all labeled by what we're able to achieve. But more importantly, we are defined by what we attempt." --Scott Tinley

Buffalo Triathlon:
Same great venue, more course options, and more competition!
Last year over 1500 people registered for the event,
well in advance of the registration deadline. This year 1500 racers
will have the same chance to test their athletic skills on the two challenging
courses around Buffalo Lake. Don't miss out on this exciting triathlon
experience! Registration closes when the race is full, which occurred
in early May last year.

The Race
The integrated Sprint and Olympic length courses, designed
in 2005, will begin and end at Sturges Park. Participants will swim
in the fresh waters of Buffalo Lake, bike past up to nine other lakes
through the rolling farmland of Wright County and will finish with a
run along the shores of Lake Buffalo.
The Sprint Course Includes:
1/4 mile swim
13 mile bike
3 mile run
The Olympic Course Includes:
1.5k (.9mile) swim
40k (24.8 mile) bike
10k (6.2 mile) run
This race is designed for those who desire to attempt
their first triathlon and for those who desire a challenging experience.
This is also a great start to the triathlon season for those experienced
athletes who are preparing for other races later in the summer.
